Doug American Staffordshire Terrier & Boxer Mix Houston, TX

Meet Doug! He is a happy, playful, and intelligent boy who is about 6 years old. He has a big heart and a lot of love to give! His favorite activities are spending time with his family, snuggling, going for walks, and playing with his favorite toy (a stuffed skunk).

Doug is well-behaved, learns quickly, and has responded well to training. He is house-trained and does well when left at home alone, although he loves his people and prefers to spend time as part of the family. He is reactive to dogs he does not know so would do best in a home where he is the only dog.

Doug has been on anti-anxiety medication and it has greatly helped his reactivity which has also improved due to training over time and building trust with his fosters. They adore him and hope you will see how amazing this boy is too!
