Meet Doug

$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! After spending over a year in the Yakima Humane Society, Doug joined the NO Nuts Club rescue. We've had to take it slow with Doug-his whole world has been flipped upside down again. He seemed a bit grumpy towards other dogs and a bit standoffish towards his human friends, but after several days, his true personality is coming out and this sweet boy is proving to be an awesome addition to our rescue! He is ready to be someone's best friend and cuddle buddy. Doug will need time to adjust if he's adopted to a family with another dog. He will need a slower introduction and won't be ready to play until he really gets to know the dog. Partnering him up with a senior dog would probably be best. This dog is located in Selah, WA. Petfinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
