Doug's Story
Doug is a sweet 8 lb senior who was born with the condition microphthalmia, but it does not affect his sweetness or his need for human cuddles. He does prefer other dogs stay away from his kennel and food bowl space and gets to be like a bottle rocket on fire when they come close, but if they don't get in his designated areas with his food, he loves all of them. Sometime a little too much. With his recent neuter, we are hoping this is going to break him of that habit. But if you are looking for a lap dog who will go for an occasional walk, look no further. He is your man, as long as you let him mark a few trees along the way.

He needs a home with no other male dogs, or there will be a marking contest inside your home. Prefer an adult home only or one with mature younger children based off his age, senior dogs can get a little grumpy with toddlers around who do not respect boundaries.
