Meet DOTTIE (Spayed!)

This blue-eyed lady is named DOTTIE. She is listed as a Catahoula mix female adult of about three years and her intake weight was 50 pounds. She is housed with another blue-eyed female dog, also a Catahoula mix, that arrived with her the same day in mid December through animal control. The girls are housed together and are friendly dogs. Thanks to a partnership between a UT department and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, DOTTIE was spayed on Tuesday, February 21. As a result, she will be able to go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment. Even better, take a dog crate. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
