Dottie came to CCHS due to no fault of her own, her living circumstances were not ideal. Dottie is a mixed breed. She is beautiful and soft with her tricolor, long dark fur. Dottie is a bit of a shy girl, but she's gaining confidence all the time and is learning to walk better on a leash every time. She will do best in a family with a lot of patience and love who are willing to give her time to learn and adjust. With any dog, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Dottie can't wait to meet her new family. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.<br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
