Now about 12 weeks old, he's healthy, happy, and thriving in his foster home, and he's ready to find his forever family!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Petey is extremely loving, playful, and easy to manage for a young pup. He's an Australian Shepherd mix, which means he loves to run, play, and get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Laying in the grass and soaking up the sun, playing with his foster dog siblings, and chewing on a fluffy toy are some of his favorite activities. He recently mastered walking on a leash and absolutely loves to be part of the action, walking alongside his foster family in nature. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Despite his puppy energy, after he gets his playtime in, Petey is just as happy to cuddle up and snooze right beside you. He's sweet, affectionate, and knows how to relax once the zoomies wear off.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Petey is doing great with potty-training, is somewhat crate trained, and knows Sit, Stay, and Come. He gets along great with other dogs and, as a young, adaptable puppy, should do well with cats and kids too, with proper introductions.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Because he's a high-energy Aussie mix, Petey will do best with a family who can give him the mental and physical stimulation his breed needs.
