Dorothy Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Normal, IL

Dorothy is a 2 year old beautiful Heeler mix. This sweet girl is so incredibly lovable - she likes all people! Dorothy loves to hug her humans and also enjoys belly rubs. She wants nothing more than your love and cuddles!

Dorothy has excellent jumping skills, so she will require a nice tall fenced in yard. She will do best in a home without other small animals - she doesn't mind the cats, but she does think it's a game if they dart away. She also doesn't do well with small dogs, but does do well with other large dogs. Dorothy will make an awesome and loyal companion - she cannot wait to shower you with hugs and kisses!

Her previous foster parents have provided us with the following info:
- She is good on a leash when there is nothing to distract her - but like most cattle dogs likes to chase anything that moves. Dorothy is strong and hard to hold onto when she decides she wants to chase something, so she'll need a strong handler.
- She's housebroken!
- She is quiet most of the time, but will give a joyful howl when she sees her favorite people!
- Not a huge fan of car rides - seems a little nervous which is typical of many cattle dogs.

Her minimum adoption fee is $255 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
