Doris is currently with a foster in San Francisco. <br/><br/>Doris came to us from La Mision after kind people in a plaza noticed she needed help. She had TVT and no access to treatment, so we brought her into our care and this sweet girl has now completed her chemotherapy and is doing absolutely fantastic.<br/><br/>One of the most loving, affectionate dogs we have met<br/>Great with people & other dogs<br/>Soft, gentle, and so grateful for kindness<br/><br/>Doris has been through so much, yet she radiates love. A Dogs New Life AC's Adoption Policy
The adoption process includes submitting an online application through our website. Leaders at the shelter review the qualifications within the applications and information provided. We do home checks and video chats with prospective applicants to find the right fit for our dogs. If the dog is in Mexico, we work with flight escorts (angels) to transport the dog to the adopter. The adoption fee helps us cover costs for the adopted dog and the care and medical attention of all our sanctuary dogs. All adoption fees are non-refundable. Your adopted dog will have vaccinations including rabies, be sterilized, treated for ticks, fleas, and de-worming, as well as any other medical need the dog may have had when rescued.
