Westwood, MA<br/><br/>Doreen’s journey began at a shelter in Uljin, South Korea. For a long time, she was a "hidden dog" who spent her days trembling in a dark corner. She was so terrified of humans that she never showed her face to visitors. Sadly, she watched many of her friends leave the shelter while she stayed behind, losing her trust in people.<br/><br/>When Doreen first moved to her foster home, she was filled with panic and tried her best to hide her tiny body in the smallest corners. It was heartbreaking to see such a beautiful soul so afraid. However, with patience and sincere love from her foster family, Doreen slowly began to open her heart.<br/><br/>She went from being a dog who was too nervous to eat to a brave girl who is curious about the world. She realized that human hands are not meant to hurt her, but to love her. Now, she not only accepts pets but truly enjoys them! She has also discovered the joy of walking outside, where she loves the smell of fresh grass and the sight of the blue sky.<br/><br/>Today, Doreen is a completely different dog. She is a social butterfly who loves running with other dog friends and enjoys every treat she gets. While she might be a little shy with strangers at first, she now has the courage to take the first step and say hello.<br/><br/>Doreen is a unique Jindo and Chihuahua mix. With her long, elegant white legs and beautiful face, she looks just like a supermodel—some even call her the "Gisele Bündchen" of the dog world!<br/><br/>Doreen has overcome her darkest days and is now ready to fill her life with only beautiful things. She is looking for a forever family who will cherish her sparkling eyes and gentle heart. After hiding in the shadows for so long, she is finally ready to step into the light with you. Charm Adopt, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Interview process: 1. Decide the dog you would like to adopt 2. Fill out and submit our Application 3. We will review the applications and contact you. The review process can take about 5-10 business days. 4. Phone interview and home check (via video call). 5. Once the adoption is confirmed : - Adopter will sign our Adoption agreement. - Adopter will need to pay the fee of $800 to Charm Adopt rescue group. This will initiate the adoption process Adoption process : 1. We will start looking for a flight volunteer to your nearest airport as soon as the adoption process starts. Finding flight volunteer is the most time consuming part. (If adopter wants to send the dog via cargo, it is possible with extra costs.) 2. During this time, we will gather all the necessary documents for your fur baby’s flight. (check the Adoption fee* section below to see what documents are included) 3. The dog will receive all required vaccines in order to fly overseas if it hasn’t done so already. 4. If it hasn’t been spayed/neutered, it will be spayed/neutered. 5. We will obtain veterinarian inspection certificate 10 days before the departure date. 6. Our team member will drop off the dog at the airport. 7. You will meet your fur baby at the airport! *Adoption fee for our dogs are $800, and this includes: 1. Health examination 2. Rabies, parasite prevention treatment 3. All other vaccinations required by USDA 4. Spay / neuter 5. Microchip 6. Veterinarian inspection certificate 7. Airline approved Kennel 8. Airfare 9. Airport transportation 10. Customs Broker Fee [Entry and paperwork approval into US Airport customs clearance]
