Meet Doppler, a three-year-old, 18-pound Dachshund mix who is ready to leave his shelter days behind and start having some fun!<br/><br/>Doppler arrived at Home Fur Good with three other dogs, and unfortunately, we don’t have any background information on his past. He was placed on the behavior e-list at county, but this handsome black-and-tan boy is showing us that there is so much more to him than that label. Doppler is easy to handle, walks nicely on leash, and has already proven himself to be a great event companion. He did wonderfully with all the people he met and was happy to soak up the attention.<br/><br/>Doppler can get a little overexcited when meeting other dogs, so he would appreciate calm, thoughtful introductions with potential canine friends. He has already made a friend here at the shelter!<br/><br/>This boy has a fun, nicely balanced personality. He loves toys, enjoys getting outside to investigate all the interesting smells, and is always happy to receive pets and attention. At the same time, Doppler is perfectly capable of entertaining himself and doing his own thing. He isn’t a super high-energy dog, but he is an active guy who would be happiest with a family that enjoys getting out and about rather than expecting him to spend all day on the couch.<br/><br/>Doppler is a great little package: good on leash, people-friendly, playful, curious, affectionate, and independent when he wants to be. Now he just needs someone willing to look beyond his e-list label and give this good boy the chance to show them who he really is!<br/><br/>Doppler’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.<br/><br/>Ready to meet Doppler?
