Donut's Story

We could not be more proud of Donut! This kid was adopted from us 7mo ago as a pup and returned. The Gen Alpha litter had a rough start to life and unfortunately, the family donut went to was not equipped for her needs.

We had a number of concerns reported by her prior family: deeply scared of men, fear based incontinence in the house, etc. we were prepared for a long haul.

Turns out, her sweet silly personality just needed a different environment to shine! She loves her morning walks with her foster sister and listens so well! She is cautious of men but warms up with calm and patience. She loves other dogs, does well with kids, and with some more impulse control and slow introductions, can be a good cat sibling (with a lot of patience!). And absolutely no toileting accidents-it appeared to be fully fear based.

This girl is ready for a new family of her own. With some patience and training, this girl will absolutely blossom!

Donut is fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Fostered in Eugene OR, her adoption is 150.

Let’s get this girl the perfect family! # #ForeverHomeWanted #adoptdontshop #ForeverHome
