Meet Donnie!<br/><br/>Donnie is a happy, lovable guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's always in a good mood and truly loves life; his outgoing, sweet nature will have you smiling every single day. He hasn't met a person or dog he didn't want to be friends with!<br/><br/>Donnie is well-trained and eager to please. He knows commands like sit, stay, lay down, and "settle," and he's both leash and crate trained, though he does just fine without a crate as well. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting out for adventures.<br/><br/>This boy loves attention and is a total cuddle bug at heart. He enjoys leaning into his people for affection and will happily soak up belly rubs for as long as you're willing to give them. He's well-mannered when meeting new people, no jumping, just lots of love.<br/><br/>Donnie is great with other dogs and currently lives with a smaller dog, doing very well. He has also been around a 2-year-old child and did great, though due to his energy level, he may be best suited for kids who are comfortable around larger, active dogs. He has also been around a cat and respectfully gives space when needed.<br/><br/>He is definitely on the higher-energy side and loves to play, fetch is one of his favorites, and he can happily go all day! He also gets the occasional zoomies, but once he's had his exercise, he settles down nicely and enjoys relaxing.<br/><br/>Donnie would thrive in an active home that can provide regular exercise, playtime, and structure to help him manage his excitement.
