Donna's Story

Donna is a 35-pound, 4.5-month-old Great Dane/Retriever mix with a heart as big as her paws! This sweet, playful girl has a perfect balance of energy and affection—she loves to romp around with toys and explore outside, but the moment you sit down, she's ready to climb into your lap for cuddles.

She's making great progress with her training and is eager to learn. Donna is working hard on both crate and potty training, improving every day. Just say “crate” with a treat in hand, and she'll happily trot right in. She's also learning the basics of leash walking and building confidence with each outing.

Donna gets along well with other dogs and does great with children, though like many young pups, she's still learning her manners—especially keeping all four paws on the ground when she gets excited. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she'll thrive with continued training and consistency.

Because of her breed mix and expected size, experience with large or giant breeds is a plus. Donna is going to grow into a big, beautiful dog, and she'll need a home committed to guiding her as she continues to learn and develop.

If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will keep you smiling and snuggled, Donna might just be your perfect match. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 4/19/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
