Meet Dolly — a sweet and sassy Basset Hound x Coonhound puppy currently in rescue care with her littermates. Shes been raised in a loving foster environment and is now ready to find a committed, forever home where she can truly thrive.<br/><br/>* This breed mix is an acquired taste—but if you understand and love hounds, you’ll find a loyal, goofy, and affectionate companion. Based on Dollys current structure we think she will grow up to resemble a tall, lean coonhound as she is taller and lankier than her siblings. Yet being the runt, she’s weighs the least:)<br/><br/>This pup will require an adopter who understands:<br/>- Hounds are ruled by their nose. Scent drives their behavior, and it’s part of who they are.<br/>- A secure fenced yard or safe containment is non-negotiable. These dogs will follow a scent if given the chance.<br/>- They can be vocal. Expect some howling, especially when excited, bored, or lonely.<br/>- They need daily exercise and mental stimulation to be their best selves—walks, sniff time, and play will help them thrive.<br/><br/>* The puppy has been vet-checked, vaccinated, dewormed and micro chipped. They’re being raised in a home environment and come with a care package and lifetime return policy.<br/><br/>(Adoption application, references, and a home check may be required.
