Meet Dolly! She is named after the one and only Dolly Parton! Just like her namesake, this sweet girl is a whole lot of sugar and a little bit of spice! Dolly spent her whole life as a puppy mill momma. Now that those years are behind her, she is looking for a patient, loving family to help her continue to learn that love is a wonderful thing! Her ideal home would be having someone home more than not and another patient and confident dog to help her learn the ropes and show her what the good life is all about. Dolly is a gentle soul who is still trying to learn about what love is and that humans can be good. Adopting Dolly will be an incredible rewarding gift, but her family will need to have realistic expectations. She will need a family that will be dedicated to helping her continue to blossom at her own pace.<br/>As Dolly Parton's classic song, "Starting Over Again" describes Dolly's life, after a life time of hardship, she is finally stepping out on her own(with a dedicated family) to find a brand new beginning! Thank you for your interest in adopting from KY Hopeful Paws. Please read the below requirements before submitting an adoption application. We will reach out to you with any questions, or if your application is approved. You must FULLY COMPLETE the adoption application. We cannot process incomplete applications. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, and must be spayed or neutered. If you have extenuating health circumstances with a pet, please note on your application and provide a letter from your veterinarian with an explanation. Please note: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we cannot reach out to those whose applications are incomplete or are not approved. Please note: this application does not guarantee approval of your application or placement of a dog into your home. Some dogs will receive several applications and others only a few. We attempt to find the best-matched home for each dog. If not selected, your application will remain on file for future dogs. Please note: Our rescue is run solely by volunteers. It may be a number of weeks before you hear back regarding your application. Please be patient as we are trying to work through applications as quickly as possible.
