DOLLY Pit Bull Terrier & Cattle Dog Mix Montclair, NJ

DOLLY is a 40 pound, 1 year old pocket pittie who hails from the south. We rescued Dolly from an overcrowded shelter in Georgia where she had little to no chance of finding a good home.

Dolly has been in a foster home in Brooklyn and though she is adapting as best she can, her new urban environment is proving slightly difficult for her. Loud noises, lots of cars and the overall place of life on the streets in the big city is not her jam.

Dolly blossoms from behind closed doors though, where she welcomes pets and seeks affection from her foster family and all their friends. She loves other dogs, loves to play with toys and loves getting treats, which she takes from the hand very gently.

Dolly would do best in a home in the suburbs in a quiet neighborhood. She does not need a fenced in backyard, but would probably love one. We think over time, she will come to trust the outdoors more and flourish as a fun-loving little girl!

We do not place dogs in homes with roommates and we do not place dogs in home with children under the age of 10 or folks looking to start a family in the near future.
