Dolly's Story

We are going to start accepting applications for this sweet girl!

Dolly came to us from South Texas, where she was scheduled to be euthanized. We just couldn’t let that happen! When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure of her new surroundings. But once she realized she was safe and surrounded by people who cared about her, her sweet personality started to shine. Now, she’s 95 pounds of pure sweetness!

We aren’t entirely sure of her breed, but she is a very tall girl, so we’re wondering if she might have some Great Dane mixed in there!

So, what is Dolly like? She is honestly such an easygoing girl!

Personality: Dolly is very calm and easy to care for. I would describe her as low to medium energy. More than anything, she just wants your love, attention, and a place to call home.
Other dogs: She does well with other dogs, and every now and then, we catch her running around the backyard and playing with them! She definitely has a playful side when the mood strikes.
Kids: She has been wonderful with our two little kiddos!
Cats: We think she would likely do just fine with cats, and we are happy to cat-test upon request.

Dolly is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how anyone could have let her go. She has so much love to give, and we cannot wait for her to find the family who will love her for the rest of her life. After everything she has been through, she deserves nothing less.

Dolly has already been:
Vaccinated
Dewormed
Microchipped
Started on flea/tick preventative
Tested HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!

Dolly will be spayed at the end of October and should be ready to head to her forever home about a week or so afterward!

Could Miss Dolly be the missing piece of your family?

If you’re interested in adopting her, our adoption application is pinned to the top of our Facebook page!
