Hi there. My name is Dodger. I'm almost 1 year old now and I weigh approximately 45 lbs.
Here's my story:
I was originally surrendered to the pound after the pound responded to a call about me being kicked, beaten and neglected. Like all people being accused of such things, they completely denied all accusations.
I have now been adopted twice and I was returned both times. I need to go to a family savvy in training, owning and loving cattle dogs.
All I need is someone to teach me some manners and some obedience and show me love. I promise I really am a good boy. I just need a family that understands me.
Cattle dogs are very smart and do tend to be easy dogs to train.
I am a high energy boy so I will need plenty of room to exercise.
I am a really super sweet fellow. I LOVE my people and I get along well with other dogs.
I am said to be housebroken.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 10, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
