Dodger's Story
Dodger is an adorable yorkie mix who weighs 10.8 pounds and is 8-9 years old. He is a well socialized active dog who clearly loves being with his people.

Dodger is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, tested heart worm negative, is wormed and is microchipped. He has no known health issues. He is leash and house trained. He does occasionally mark, so he wears a belly band when unattended in the house.

Dodger was found as a stray and no owner claimed him. He is a bit of an escape artist and can climb over gates and open crate doors, so he needs a dog experienced family who can watch him carefully until he has settled into his new home. A physically fenced yard is REQUIRED for Dodger.

As you can clearly see, he loves playing ball. He loves long walks, car rides, chasing squirrels, and fast food drive thru's. While he can be a busy little guy, he does love snuggle time on the couch and sleeping in the big bed with his humans. He gets along well with other dogs, and would do well as an only dog too. He would do well with older children. No cats.

As a plus, Dodger does know some basic commands, and he has a big beautiful smile. He is especially fond of older men. He has some minor separation anxiety, but that's not unusual for a dog who has been lost. He needs someone who is home with him often so he can feel secure again.

If you think this fun little guy might be your new best friend, message me for an application. We only adopt to Ohio and surrounding states.
