Once youve become his person, hell happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, play a game of fetch, or snuggle up next to you in bed.<br/>Because of his limited vision, Doc startles easily and doesnt like being picked up unexpectedly. When he feels scared, he may try to nip—but its fear, not aggression. With only four teeth, if he nips its not much of a concern , and once he knows and trusts you, hes a loving little gentleman. Gentle handling, allowing him to approach you first, and using a harness when needed help him feel safe and confident.<br/>Doc is making great progress with his house training and thrives on a consistent routine. He currently wears a belly band indoors because he may occasionally mark or have an accident if he isnt let outside in time. With patience and consistency, he continues to improve every day.<br/>He coexists peacefully with other dogs but prefers his own space over playtime. His dream home would be calm and predictable, where he can be the center of someones world.<br/>Doc isnt looking for perfection—hes looking for someone willing to see past his little quirks and love him for the incredible dog he is.
