I have been at the shelter for over 8 months waiting for a home! I’m a social guy who adores my people and loves to tell them all about my day with my charming grumbles and happy woofs. I enjoy walks and exploring! I’m a big fan of belly rubs and will happily curl up next to you for a movie marathon. I prefer to use the bathroom outside and keep my space clean and tidy. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the king of the castle and get all the attention and head scratches I deserve. Born Again Pit Bull Rescue's Adoption Policy
Because our dogs cannot return to Mexico if there isn't a good fit, we're extra thorough in matching each dog with the right family. If you are interested in adopting from us, please fill out our complete adoption application at https://www.bapbr.org/adoption-application. The Meximutt Project is 100% volunteer-run by a small team of dedicated animal lovers. As such, we cannot respond to every application submitted nor respond to inquiries made on Petfinder. But rest assured that we'll review each application with the utmost care. If we think there's a good match after reviewing your application, we'll reach out to you to schedule a phone interview. • Timeline: 2-4 weeks for CDC/USDA paperwork and flight arrangement once approved • The adoption fee includes: Flight to U.S. • Spay/neuter • USDA import permit • Health Certificate • All vaccines (DHLPPi, Rabies, Bordetella) • Full blood work & health tests (CBC, blood parasite tests, parvo/giardia/coronavirus test) • Flea/tick/heartwork treatment & deworming • Microchip • Grooming • Collar, leash & ID tag • Payment: Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, or cash Previous adopters often tell us the pre-arrival bonding process makes pickup day feel like welcoming home a family member they've been missing.
