Meet Dixie IV
We are cross posting for this amaizng rescuer who saved this dog. This is not a white paws dog but we offered to help place the dog. Please note she is special needs as she doesn't have a tongue. Once an adopter is approved we will than put you in touch with the lady who saved her and has her. Please spread the word about this sweet girl. She deserves a home that doesn't mind a little mess from eating and drinking.
Meet Dixie! Dixie is from Tennessee, HW negative, spayed, and about 1 year old. Dixie was found as a stray and has no tongue. It is unsure exactly how she is that way. She can eat and drink by herself with her bowls being raised, and is very gentle if hand fed. Dixie gets along with other dogs, kids, and is fine with cats just needs to learn to coexist with them. When anxious or excited she does tend to be drooley because of the fact she does not have a tongue. Dixie will need an adopter that can stand a little drool
