Dixie Belle - Fostered in Omaha

Meet Dixie Belle! She is approx 2 yrs old, 45 lbs, and so much fun!<br/><br/>This gorgeous Coonhound-Boxer mix is pure joy in motion! Dixie LOVES to play—fetch, tug-of-war, backyard zoomies, wrestling matches with dogs... you name it, she's in! She's full of energy and has a vibrant, sweet personality that's impossible not to fall in love with. <br/><br/>When Dixie gets excited, she sometimes forgets that not everyone is a dog like her. Sometimes, she can be a little too enthusiastic and needs some gentle redirection now and then. Because of this, she'd do best in a home with older kids and no small pets (sorry, kitties!).<br/><br/>After all that play, Dixie turns into a total snugglebug. She lives for cuddles and kisses—I've honestly never had my face licked so much in my life. She wants to be as close as possible to her humans, preferably under the covers at night (though this mean ol' foster mom makes her use a dog bed ). She may be too big for your lap... but don't tell her that. She will happily sit on top of you if you let her. <br/><br/>Like a true hound, Dixie has a delightfully stubborn streak and the most adorable bay-bark combo you've ever heard. She's smart, learns quickly, and respects house rules once she knows them. She loves a routine.
