Meet Dinah - Deserving Mama!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org
Dinah is a beautiful girl who came to us from North Carolina. She was surrendered to a shelter with her two pups. Her pups were rescued, but Dinah was left behind. She's now in a foster home here in NJ. Dinah is the full pittie package !! Not only is she a show stopper on walks with how gorgeous she is, she also loves all the human attention and will give you a hug once you've won her over with treats. Not to mention she is great on leash. She's extremely smart and eager to learn, in exchange of a treat, of course . She knows sit, stay, place, paw, down and more to come! She's house trained and perfectly fine being left home alone. Dinah loves to play with dogs but she is still learning to play more gently as a stronger dog. She will get the growlies then roll on her belly to initiate play and then it's socially awkward zoomies galore! She would do well having a dog sibling who enjoys rough housing but also correcting her if she plays a little too hard. She is sweet and calm with children, but once she wants the play, it should be with people who can handle her Olympian tug of war. For this reason, we feel she would do best with older human siblings. Dinah needs to go to an active home with someone who will give her the exercise and enrichment she needs to meet her puppy like energy. She loves walks on the boardwalk, sitting outside while her foster has coffee, and going on runs as long as she can get some sniffs in from time to time.
Dinah is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
