Meet Diego! This adorable 2-year-old Bichon/Maltese mix weighs just 10 pounds and is basically the definition of a little lap dog. With his fluffy white coat, sweet personality, and silly little ways, Diego is sure to steal your heart! Diego is friendly, loving, cuddly, curious, and wonderfully quiet. His favorite things include cuddling, getting treats, exploring his surroundings, and—most importantly—being in your lap! The second you sit down, don’t be surprised if Diego hops right up to claim his favorite spot. He’ll also happily follow his person around like a tiny, fluffy shadow. <br/>Because of his small size, Diego can be a little shy around big dogs. He’s looking for a home where he can feel safe and secure, with children 7 years old or older who understand how to be gentle with a little dog. He would also do best with someone who is home more often than not, as he truly loves being with his people. Diego is currently working on his house and crate training and is making progress as he learns the ropes. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped, and his adoption fee will include his future neuter.
