Diana's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DIANA IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME!

4-year-old purebred Doberman. Heartworm-free. Fully vetted. Kennel enthusiast. Cat skeptic.

Breaking news, folks: Diana has officially finished her heartworm treatment! The chapter is closed, the book is back on the shelf, and she is ready to stop being a patient and start being a DOG.

Her glow-up list:

✠̈ Full dental cleaning. Her smile is red-carpet ready. Her breath is now just "dog."

✠̈ Full vet care for everything she could possibly need. She is up to date on all of it. Honestly, she's more caught up on her appointments than most of us.

✠̈ Heartworm treatment: COMPLETE. She was a champ and gets her bragging rights.

Her skills:

Sit. Nailed it.
Come. Ask her, and she's on her way.
Kennel. This is where it gets weird, in the best way.

Diana LOVES her kennel. Yes, you read that right. A Doberman who voluntarily walks into her kennel and chills out like it's a day spa. Her foster family calls it a foster-home jackpot. She treats it as her own private retreat, and she's on a "do not disturb" schedule.

Since coming into foster care, Diana has been working hard on her manners and learning all about this whole "good house dog" thing. Her foster family has helped her build confidence, learn routines, and understand what's expected of her, and she's doing GREAT, like all our Dobermans do.

Things you should know (because we believe in honesty):

She may have some allergies. She's a delicate flower, a sneezy one. Her adopter should be ready to roll with it.

She is not a fan of cats. To be fair, she has never filed a complaint, but she's made her feelings known. Diana will be happiest in a cat-free home, so no tabbies, please. She'd like to keep her peace.

What Diana wants in her people:

Someone who will keep up her training and good habits, and who offers structure, love, exercise, and companionship. She is a Doberman, so she'd also like to be near you at all times, including the bathroom.

Diana worked hard to get here, and now comes the fun part: finding her PEOPLE.

If you've been waiting for a beautiful, already-learning Doberman who knows her basics, has a sparkling smile, and thinks her kennel is a five-star resort, Diana would like to meet you.

Let's talk numbers (because we love you, but we also love transparency).

This girl has cost the rescue a few thousand pretty pennies, and her adoption fee covers only a tiny fraction of that. Heartworm treatment, a full dental cleaning, and vet care for everything she could possibly need all add up fast. Diana's bill has her own zip code.

But sometimes a dog is just worth the extra effort. That's what rescue is about: doing the work, spending the money, and waiting as long as it takes to find her just the right home.

Her heartworm chapter is CLOSED. Her forever chapter is READY TO BEGIN.

Could you be Diana's happily-ever-after?
