They love playing with their foster dog sibling and are gentle, affectionate companions.<br/><br/>Both Dexter and Pippen are:<br/>- House trained<br/>- Neutered<br/>- Great with kids, dogs, and cats<br/>- Up to date on vaccinations and recently had dental care<br/><br/>Pippen is currently recovering well from dental surgery and just needs a little extra TLC while he heals.<br/><br/>If youre looking to fill your home with twice the love, laughter, and tail wags, Dexter and Pippen are ready to become part of your family.<br/><br/>Adoption fee: $595 for the pair.<br/><br/><br/>Adoption Application:<br/>https://form.jotform.com/62555766852165<br/><br/>Like all Dachshunds, Dexter & Pippen enjoys playing and warming their little bones in the sunshine, along with regular walks Dexter & Pippen needs a secure fenced yard to run around and explore safely. While small in stature, doxies are big on personality and don't generally do well in apartments. Therefore we adopt to families who live in single family homes (or Duplexes) with secure fenced yards.<br/><br/>OUR CRITERIA:<br/><br/>Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have found that the following criteria best sets up our doxies and their new families for success. <br/><br/>Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We generally do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together. We prefer non-smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues. <br/><br/>All our dogs are vetted and vaccinated. If available, theyll come with a few goodies to get you started (food, toys and a harness). The adoption fee is $595 for the pair, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet/dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.<br/><br/>Can you give Dexter & Pippen a happy, carefree forever home?
