He is a 2-3 year old miniature pinscher who presents as timid and takes a bit of time to warm up. Dexter might be okay in a home with another dog, but would have to meet them prior to adoption to make sure it’s a good match. No cats though. Dexter is looking for an adult-only home or one with older teenage kids. His $80 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccinations. If you think this cute boy could be your BFF, come and meet him Tuesday-Friday 12-3 or Saturday 12-6.

Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
