This stunning red and white Boston Terrier was surrendered by his family who could no longer care for him; we welcomed him with open arms at BBW! Dexter just turned 7 in February, and he's now up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He's neutered and healthy, he just needs to lose a few pounds! (he's a big guy at 38# (!) and should weigh 28-30#, we're helping him with a gym and weight loss plan!) Dexter is a very polite houseguest; he walks great on a leash, is patient and quiet, gets along with friendly dogs, and loves all people. He's a rough & tumble player who's *obsessed* with toys and tug toys, and will happily play fetch until the cows come home! (We don't recommend Dexter for kids under 10, since he may knock them down unintentionally in his exuberance!)<br/><br/>Dexter is in a loving foster home currently, but we'd really love to find a foster-to-adopt home (or adopting family!) for him to make his transition easier. Looking for a fun exercise buddy, movie-watching friend, and a healthy snacking partner who will never judge you? (as long as you share the snacks LOL!) Dexter might be your guy!
