Meet Dexter

Dexter is a 2 year old neutered pit mix. He is up to date on vaccinations, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. He was taken into a shelter after he was seized from an animal cruelty case. He remained there for over a year. During his time there he was attacked by another dog. This left him shell shocked and wary of other dogs. He started to shut down and become reactive. He was scheduled to be euthanized when we intervened. We sent Dexter to training and he has been decompressing and learning to be a dog again. He is now doing well with female dogs but is still selective with males. He will need an adopter that is patient with him and continue his training.
