Devin is an awesome guy who is quickly becoming a staff favorite for his overall friendly nature. He has not yet met a stranger and will come up to introduce himself right away! Devin gets along well with other dogs but not so well with cats. He seems to really enjoy his treats and attention. Devin likes to be with his people all the time.

UPDATE by Doggie Date Volunteer:
"My kids and I had a doggie date on Sunday with Devin. We quickly figured out that he had good manners in the car, and he enjoyed the view through the windows. We spent some hours walking, running and just enjoying the beautiful springtime in Assiniboine Park. Devin is very affectionate with people and he loves belly rubs and treats. He knows some commands and is a good boy with a leash. We are in love with him and my kids were sad to return him to Animal Services. He is an excellent addition to the family who decide to adopt him."

FOSTER UPDATE:
"Devin is settling in and enjoys playing with my other dogs. He was very good in the car and sat quietly looking out the windows. At night he has been sleeping in my room and doesn’t get up until morning and is completely housetrained. He is good with feeding and is not aggressive with food. He takes treats gently and listens well. Devin doesn’t bark a lot and I’ve only heard him barking when playing. He loves toys, especially with squeakers. He enjoys running around and playing but also loves to cuddle.
We went to Kildonan Park today and he is good on the leash. We met some people and another dog and he loved everyone. He doesn’t pull much even when he sees a squirrel and is easy to redirect. He saw lots of geese but was not interested in them."

"We spent the day with Devin and we just love him. He was so good on his leash and loved all people, including kids! Devin loves his treats and will show you all his tricks! He knows sit, shake a paw, and lay down. He also really loves to play with stuffed animals, it’s super cute he throws them up and tries to catch them himself. Devin jumps up lightly and gives hugs, it is the cutest thing; he seems very affectionate and just wants to be with you. We are so shocked that Devin is still at the shelter and doesn’t have a lineup of people wanting to adopt him; we truly loved him so much! He would make an excellent addition to a family!"
