She spent years believing she was home, loved, and exactly where she belonged.<br/><br/>Sadly, she was recently returned because her size was no longer a good fit with a toddler in the home.<br/><br/>And now this sweet girl is looking for someone to show her that being returned doesn't mean being unwanted. <br/><br/>A Little About Desi:<br/><br/> - 6 Years Young: Desi has so much love left to give and so many happy memories still waiting to be made.<br/> - 75 Pounds of Love: She's carrying a few extra pounds, so a little healthy weight loss will be good for her.<br/> - Crate & Potty Trained: Desi is a pro at the important stuff!<br/> - Leash Skills in Progress: Desi does pull on a leash, so shell benefit from a little continued guidance and practice on walks.<br/> - Calm & Quiet: She isn't looking to cause chaos. She'd much rather enjoy the simple things in life.<br/> - LOVES Her People: Desi is extremely sweet and just wants to be loved on by everyone she meets.<br/> - Good with Dogs: Desi does well with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion to share her new life with.<br/> - A Heart of Gold: After spending her life with a family, she deserves to know that her next home really will be forever.<br/> - Looking for Her Soft Landing: Desi doesn't need anything fancy. She needs a loving family, a comfy place to lay her head, some walks to help shed a few pounds, and most importantly...someone who will never give up on her.<br/> - She gave her family six years of her life.<br/>Now it's Desi's turn to find the family who will give her the rest of hers.<br/><br/>We believe her happily-ever-after is still out there.<br/><br/>Stay tuned as we get to know Desi better and learn more about this incredibly sweet girl!<br/><br/>Because every dog deserves to feel like they are finally home. <br/><br/>Age: 6 years<br/>Adoption Fee: $250<br/><br/>MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
