Delightful Deon!

My friends here at PAHS have a lot of wonderful things to say about me and my resilience. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was absolutely terrified. I used to run and hide in the back of my kennel when it was my turn to go for a walk :( After taking some time to adjust I realized that my kennel mom isn't scary at all. In fact, I jump on my gate all excited and ready to go outside now.

Some may say I'm a big boy but I certainly don't think so. I love to jump in my friends' laps and give them some of my signature kisses. I am so grateful to finally have my very own toys and food and can understandably get a bit upset if they are taken from me. For this reason, I am searching for a home with older teens and adults. I have been very well behaved around my kennel neighbors but can get a bit timid when they yell at me. A calm and confident doggie roommate may help me come out of my shell. While I am submissive around other dogs, I am definitely NOT a cat guy. Please consider adopting one of my buddies instead if you already have a feline friend.
