He will thrive in a home with a secure, safely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs away from busy roads (he can be tempted to chase cars).<br/><br/>Dog Socialization: He is currently learning how to play appropriately with other dogs and is discovering the fun of canine friendships!<br/><br/>Home Setup & Drive: Because of his strong herding instincts and chase drive, Denver needs a home without small animals or cats.<br/><br/>Adults-Only Environment: When Denver gets overly excited, his herding instincts can come through as mouthy or nippy behavior. He requires a calm, adult-only home with standard Border Collie-savvy handlers who understand how to guide high-arousal moments.<br/><br/>Leash Training in Progress: He is still learning leash etiquette and likes to play "tug" with the leash when excited, but he corrects easily with a confident handler who knows how to direct his energy.<br/><br/>Denver has so much potential and is ready to blossom into an incredible companion for an experienced, active home that can give him the room to run and the structure to succeed.
