Dennis is a large 7 year old Husky/Lab cross who is bursting with energy and always ready to play. He is happiest when he gets to go on adventures or even just basking in the sun. Dennis just LOVES his people. So much so that when his favorite humans come around, he just can't hold back his full body wiggles! Before coming to the shelter, Dennis was quite isolated and was kept on a long line where he did not get to interact with many people. For this reason, he still has the mindset of a young puppy. Understandably, he gets beyond excited when people come to say hi and he tries to play as a puppy would with mouthing. Though his intentions are in the right place, he is a big and powerful boy that can make it challenging for less dog-experienced folks to handle.

He also didn't get the chance to make dog friends before, so he slowly learning proper social skills to greet other animals. Dennis has such a goofy, affectionate personality and is so deserving of a loving place to call his own. He is obsessed with toys and tennis balls and always has the biggest grin on his face. His ideal home is with a confident, strong handler, who can not only provide him with continuous training, but also with physically and mentally stimulating activities to keep him happy!
