Denali Border Collie Mix Chambersburg, PA

At the Beginning of December 2023, we had 12 dogs surrendered to the shelter after their owner had passed away. This group of pups lived their whole lives in barn stalls until they arrived at the shelter. They were all dirty and very scared when they arrived. They all needed some time to learn that the outside world is not as scary as it seems, and they have all made leaps and bounds adjusting to shelter life. These guys as far as we know, have never lived in a house and will need time to adjust to one. They will need homes that have the patience to work with them with new situations and help them blossom! They are all really sweet pups with the potential to be wonderful companions!

Denali is the most senior of the group at 8 years old (not that you can tell!) he is an active guy that loves to go for walks and play in the play yard! He is one of the more outgoing of the group. He adjusted to his new living situation quicker than some of his barn companions. He loves attention and loves to be with you! He will need someone that understands that he will need regular grooming to keep his coat from getting matted. He did well getting baths here at the shelter and enjoyed getting a "spa" day! Denali has would love to find his loving forever home soon! Denali must meet all family members that reside in the home. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
