Delos German Shepherd Dog San Diego, CA

Delos is actually really good dog! Folks who are used to big German Shepherds might even think he is an awesome dog. He has had some training, has good house manners and is easy to walk on leash. Delos is fairly moderate energy, but he is always curious and watching his surroundings. He doesn't bark much but will let you know if something suspicious is outside. He likes to be with his people but doesn't wreck the house when left alone. He is housebroken and knows to stay off the furniture. He does like to be in the kitchen when someone is cooking (the counter is right at nose level!), but so far no food has been stolen! Delos might need some time to learn rules of a new house, but this guy is a quick study.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
