Delilah *no longer taking applications* Pit Bull Terrier Mix Minneapolis, MN

Delilah is a 13-week-old pit bull mix with a heart of gold. Sporting a short brindle coat with patches of black, brown, and white, she's as unique as she is lovable. At 30 pounds currently, she's expected to grow into a large dog, weighing between 61-100 pounds. It is possible she may grow to be more medium-sized.

House-training is well underway for Delilah, who is learning fast and already signals when she needs to go outside. While accidents still happen occasionally, she's making great progress. She's also crate-trained, finding solace in her crate overnight, though she may whimper briefly before settling down.

Socialization comes naturally to Delilah, who adores playing with other dogs and respects the boundaries of feline housemates. She's equally affectionate with people, displaying a gentle demeanor and a penchant for kisses and cuddles.

In terms of health, Delilah is scheduled for spaying on 2/25/24, with no other known medical issues. Her past may be a mystery, as she was found roaming the streets, but her foster family imagines she once had a loving home due to her sweet and well-behaved nature.

Despite her past, Delilah has adapted quickly to her foster home, learning the ropes from her four-legged companions and settling in with ease. Her favorite activities include playing tug-of-war and chasing her canine pals.

While she may express some distress when left alone, Delilah's overall energy level is relatively low for a puppy, making her a great fit for households with shared walls or apartments. While she could thrive with or without a fenced yard, her leash-walking skills are still a work in progress.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed
