Dede’s a 4yo 14lb Shih Tzu mix. She’s dog and kid friendly. She’s house and pee pad trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yards along with going on harness leashed walks. She’s friendly, medium energy, likes to be with her person, OK with other dogs but does not like it when other dogs get near her person. She likes to play with toys and cuddle with her person. A home with a secure fenced in yard would be a nice plus but not required.<br/><br/>Dede’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be allowed on furniture to cuddle and get belly rubs, along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.<br/><br/>Dede as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.<br/><br/>Dede’s spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Currently in Riverton, NJ.
