Davey is about 8 years young, fully vetted, heart worm negative and weighs about 30lbs. He is super sweet and friendly. <br/><br/>He loves other dogs, has no issues with cats and is great with children. He knows how to sit on command, walks well on a leash, is food motivated so he learns quickly and is gentle taking treats! <br/><br/>Davey was picked up by a citizen who witnessed him being abandoned on a highway with his big brother and much older sister. Unfortunately, the person who saved them from being hit by a car couldn't keep these darling dogs due to restrictions at her housing community. She kept them until neighbors complained then she brought them to the shelter. <br/><br/>She said Davey is affectionate, minds well, house trained and slept in a crate all night long. <br/><br/>She donated to the shelter to keep them safe but there was a public hoarding situation in the same county where 100 dogs were seized, and the shelter is beyond FULL. <br/><br/>Davey's a spry boy - loves to play or just curl up next to you. <br/><br/> A rescue specializing in seniors took his sister, so she is safe.
