Dasiy's Story
Daisy #1021

Age: 9 years old

Color & Breed: Red & White Basset

Gender: Spayed Female

Weight: 43 pounds

Spring is here, so pick yourself a Daisy! Daisy #1021 is a 9-year-old red-and white female basset. She’s spayed and weighs 43 pounds, which is the perfect weight for a full-time lap dog, which is her biggest aspiration in life.

Daisy could take or leave other dogs. She does try to play with the dogs in her foster home, but honestly? Scritches and praise from people are way better. She’d love to be part of a peaceful home without small children. Sometimes she can be reluctant to hop in a car or into a crate, but it could just be part of her grand scheme to get more snuggles. (Because getting picked up is just a hug with another name!)

Her foster home has a fenced-in yard, but Daisy would likely be okay on a tie-out with supervision too. She’s had a couple accidents, but she wants us to know that it’s because it was raining out or the doggy door was blocked. She wanted to go out, she promises. Once she’s gotten her mandatory “hug”, she’s good in a crate all afternoon as she waits for people to get back. When she sees them, she does a little wiggle dance!

Start your Daisy bouquet by applying for her at https://www.mnbassetrescue.com/adoption

MNBR adopts locally as much as possible so we can properly support our foster dogs and adopters if the need arises.
