Dasher - adopted!

Dasher is an adorable Australian Shepherd mix born in mid-October 2021. He loves people more than anything (especially anyone that will snuggle with him!), being silly with other dogs and toys. We think he will mature to around 50-60 lbs.<br/><br/>With nice medium energy, Dash looks forward to a life of daily walks and frequent outings with his family so he can see the world. He’s a soft-hearted boy that needs positive guidance; he would be crushed by a firm training style. He’s a confident young lad who would love another dog for company but would also be just fine on his own with a family that keeps him in the middle of the action. <br/><br/>We think Dash would respect kitties and even see them as friends over time. He’s a smart boy just poised to get an A+ in obedience classes, and will love practicing new skills at home to get lots of attention and treats. Just a baby, Dash is quickly picking up on potty training and needs frequent breaks to go outside.<br/><br/>Fun and happy, Dash is going through a teething stage and can be placed in a family with older kids who can handle redirecting his little shark teeth to appropriate targets for chewing. He is learning how to walk nicely on a leash and absolutely adores the together time with his people.<br/><br/>Dash is an amazing spirit that will be someone’s best friend if they nurture his amazing heart and show him how to be the best boy.<br/><br/>Dasher is located near Eau Claire, WI. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.<br/><br/>Dasher's adoption fee is $400 + MN sales tax. He is microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered by the rescue at the age of 5 months (this procedure is included in his adoption fee).
