Meet Dasher
Meet Dasher!
He just arrived to us from one of our shelter partners in Arkansas.
We were told from our Arkansas partner that he was very timid and scared in the shelter. Initially off transport he is that way as well. He will need a little time to decompress. If you have a friendly social dog at home it may be a good fit for him to help him come out of his shell.
We learned from the shelter employee that he still is trying to understand what a leash is.
He is in a foster home in Cedar Lake, IN. She said her daughter has been able to feed him and he will take food from her hand. He still is timid but came out to explore when their other small chihuahua was walking by. So he seems comfortable with other dogs.
Dasher is 4yrs old, 10lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines, rabies and has a microchip
He is at a foster home in Cedar Lake, IN. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to meet him

- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.
- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
