MEET DARNOLD! STATS: 2 years old, neutered, Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: Despite my height, I am a gentle and over the top affectionate boy! I might be a little tall, but I know that can intimidate people so I make sure to be respectful (unless of course, you WANT me to hug you!) I am playful with other dogs and like to run around a little bit, but I am super people motivated! I just want to sit next to you all day and enjoy your company. WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE to sleep, be snuggled, play with toys, chase tennis balls in the yard, and spend time with people! KIDS: The shelter staff thinks I would do just fine with dog savvy kids that are gentle with me. I am a big boy, so it would be best to have me around older kids. OTHER DOGS: I love other dogs and go to playgroup at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I am looking for a family that will finally show me how great life can be! I am such a wonderful guy with a heart of gold – I would do wonderfully with someone who will give me all the affection I so desperately crave. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
