Hello, my name is Darla. I’m a Carolina Dog also known as American Dingo. My breed is not known for beauty! I could never compete with a Golden Retriever in the looks department, but what I lack in beauty, I make up with personality plus. I’m intelligent, loyal, gentle, and adaptable to new situations. I’m affectionate but don’t need to be in your face constantly. I do enjoy human companionship but I’m also an independent, low maintenance girl. I’m dog social and always the first one to greet the new, incoming foster dogs. I’m perfect in a crate and always keep my “nest” tidy, never chewing my blankets or bed. At feeding time I’m always polite, sitting patiently and never begging for food. I’m totally house trained and would never consider soiling my home. I’ve seen so many pretty dogs come and go since I’ve been here and no one even gives me a second look☹ If you need a loyal companion, please consider me, you won’t regret it!
