Hi! I’m Darcy and I have one question for you. How cute am I? Seriously, how cute?

I was rescued from a municipal shelter so my original story is a mystery. My foster first thought I was matured. Then thought I was a teenager. I think we’ve settled on me being around 2. I sometimes act like a teenager, but my teeth and physique are grown.

I’d say I am pretty much potty trained using a dog door but I do still have accidents. That must be part of my past because my foster says I’m smart and trainable.

I love children! Even toddlers. But I am still very submissive when someone comes into a room. It may take a while for me to build courage and confidence but I have a big heart and want to make you happy.

I’ve had limited exposure to other dogs and can be reactive but with enough time and patience I should come around. On walks I’m still a little skittish with loud noises and I’m working on not pulling the leash so much. Practice makes perfect so I’d love to master good leash manners with your help!

While I am totally crate trained, long hours in the crate do not excite me. I will play when you want to play but will calm down if you need to work. I love my training collar and to dress up! Sweater weather is my favorite.
