Darcy's Story

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.

Meet Darcy

Darcy is a petite sweetheart under 10 pounds, and despite all she’s been through, she’s nothing but love and resilience.

Her story began when a kind samaritan saw her being abandoned at a park and falling into a lake. Thankfully, they pulled her to safety and got her the immediate care she needed. Now safe in our rescue, Darcy has had her full vet check: she is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and estimated to be around 9–10 years old.

Darcy is sight-impaired, possibly fully blind, and also hearing impaired—though she can still pick up on loud noises.

None of this slows her down. She enjoys exploring the yard (in a safe, obstacle-free space), soaks up attention, and seems to be potty trained—she’s had no accidents in her foster home. When her foster is away, she relaxes quietly in her kitchen pen until they return.

She has just started playing with toys and has a favorite she likes to shake. She is not a fan of it being taken away from her!

Her gentle spirit shines through in everything she does, and she’ll make you smile with her affectionate nature and the cutest little snores when she naps (you can hear those in her video).

Darcy is ready for the loving, safe home she deserves.

We want her new home to have a fenced yard for her security since she is sight impaired.

Adoption $200

?Please note that we do not ship animals.
