Calvin Mixed Breed Lynden, WA

Introducing....Calvin! Calvin is a sweet, playful and fairly energetic 10 week old puppy. His mama, Java, is a small mixed breed who weighs 15 pounds. Since the pups currently weigh 8-9 lbs, we expect them to be 30-35 lbs as adults.
Calvin is very fun loving and always up for a game of ball, Stick throwing, or any other puppy game, indoors and outside. He often takes himself outside through the doggy door to visit the backyard. Calvin loves sleeping in his crate; but also loves sleeping on his person. He's quite affectionate and loves to cuddle and be petted; he is the best hugger!
Calvin gets along fine with his brother Hobbes (also available for adoption) and the 3 small dogs in his foster home.

Calvin's ideal home would have someone that is home alot to help with potty training and socialization. At this age, he should only be left alone for 2-3 hours. A situation where he could accompany his person to work every day would also be great. Having another dog to play with is a big plus, but not a requirement. Having children to play with is a plus if the children are old enough to deal with the exuberance of a teething puppy. A good high fence is a must if you have a house with a yard.
Calvin is up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered at approximately 6 months of age. Fuzzball Animal Rescue will set up an appointment and pay for the neuter. It will be his new family's responsibility to take him to the vet that day. This will all be stated in the adoption contract. Our adoption procedure includes a meet & greet, vet references, home check and pet policy check if you are renting. Meet & Greets will take place in Lynden, Washington near his foster home.
