Hay Dude Equine Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Texas. All of our dogs live in foster homes in TX and are transported to their new states once adopted. All adopters must be 21+. I was found as a stray in New Mexico, and while I’m not sure how I ended up on my own, I’m pretty sure I was meant to end up in someone’s lap.<br/><br/>We think I’m a Yorkie/Smooth Fox Terrier mix, and I’m basically the perfect combination of cute, cuddly, and just a little bit scruffy! My head is wonderfully soft and non-shedding, while my back has that adorable wiry terrier coat that sheds a little—so apparently I couldn’t decide which hairstyle I wanted and went with both.<br/><br/>I’m very sweet and loving, and one of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling with my people. I can be a little nervous when I first meet someone new, but give me just a little time and I’ll warm up quickly. Once I know you’re a friend, I’m all about the love!<br/><br/>I’m also very good with other dogs. I have a submissive, easygoing personality and would happily share my space with canine friends.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a small companion with a big heart, a love for snuggles, and an adorable little terrier face, Daphne might just be your girl.
