Meet Daphne!

This cute tri-pod girl was rescued from a (crummy) Beagle breeder. Daphne was injured, but instead of taking her to the vet, to help with her severally injured leg, they gave her away.

Thankfully the gentleman who rescued her, nursed her back to health and had her injured leg amputated (as suggested by a vet). She gets around great, but definitely needs a home with no steps or less than 3. She is not a fan of steps.

Daphne is a AKC Beagle. We have the papers, but big whoop! We do know she was born 3-19-23. That’s the only exciting thing to me about papers, is knowing their birthday! Ha!

She is very shy at first, which makes sense she’s had a traumatic few months for sure. Once she feels safe, she is very sweet. She is great with most dogs and cats. If they are really hyper, that makes her a little nervous. Another calm dog in the home is required. She will actually cry and bark if she does not have a dog friend close by! If she has dog friend close by, she is a pretty quiet girl.

Daphne weighs 20 pounds. She is spayed, current on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and started on heartworm prevention.

The adoption fee is $225 to an approved and loving home. All vet records and her harness will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption.

Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply.
